Here’s an overview of some of my skills, hidden talents and passion projects.
UNDERDOG
I’ve created a webzine to talk about (and with) artists I admire. It’s a mix of reviews, interviews and short film recommendations. We try to post every other Saturday. Check it out!
EDITING
I love editing short videos (using DaVinci), whether for personal projects or film events. Here’s a trailer I made for the Flatpack short film competition in 2022.
SUBTITLING
I got into subtitling through print traffic coordination, and I really enjoy it. I regularly take care of adaptating dialogues (from English to French), formatting, synchronising and exporting subtitles to video or DCP. I use Aegisub.
PODCASTS
I listen to a lot of podcasts (how original) and I’ve tried my hand at creating a short audio drama for the Arte Radio competition a few years ago. The brief was to make a 3-minute piece about the 2022 summer. I used Reaper to edit. It’s in French!
WORKSHOPS
I’ve led a programming workshop with a community centre. We met every Wednesday for 6 weeks, watched a selection of short films and put together the final programme for an outdoor screening taking place in their neighbourhood. Discussions were lively, and reaching a consensus was gratifying!
PAPER CREATION
I have a passion for postcards and notebooks, and I enjoy creating my own designs, using collage or linocutting.
